How we work

Standardized process plus engineering culture — get things done properly, not by piling on overtime.

01

Standardized process

Every business line runs on a clear playbook: scoping, review, delivery, retro. SOPs over hero-mode firefighting. New hires reach business context in 1–2 weeks regardless of role.

02

Clear roles, engineer-driven

Engineering does engineering, ops does ops, sales does sales — engineers are not the firefighters. At the same time, every role thinks like an engineer: solve with tooling, process, and documentation, not by depending on individual heroics.

03

Daily standup, blockers resolved

One 15–30 minute morning standup every day: schedule sync, blocker resolution, cross-team coordination, brainstorming when needed. Once it's done, it's done — no meetings for the sake of meetings.

04

Active upskilling supported

Certification reimbursement and training budget — we back not only the skills your current role needs, but also the direction you want to grow. We want everyone to leave MatrixPlus more valuable than when they joined.

Career ladder

Dual-track B and M ladders — transparent criteria, with the ability to switch back.

B · Individual contributor

    Intern · Students
Internship role — learn business and engineering basics with a mentor.
  2. B2

M · Management

Organization & strategy track

Small-team lead, still delivers hands-on work.
  2. M2

Owns multiple small cells; bridges leads and managers.

  6. M6
Group VP · Group business cluster
Group VP — oversees one or more subsidiaries.
  7. M7
    Group President · Group multi-cluster
Group President — drives multi-cluster strategy and external resources.
  8. M8
    Group CXO · Group
CTO / COO / CFO and other C-suite leading a core Group function.
  9. M9
Group CEO / Founder · Group
Ultimate decision-maker and accountability holder for the Group.
How the dual track works
  • Annual reviews on the B ladder. Level-up requires evidence of technical depth, project impact, and external sharing / documentation.
  • Switching to the M ladder requires B4 or higher (Senior Engineer). The most common path is B5 → M1.
  • B and M level alignment: M1 ≈ B4, M2 ≈ B5, M3 ≈ B6, M4 ≈ B7, M5 ≈ B8. Same level = same compensation range.
  • Managers can return to IC. Switching back to the technical track maps to the equivalent B level — you are not locked in by the channel.
  • Compensation follows level, not track. No incentive to do management just to get a raise — domain experts get rewarded staying experts.
  • Group / subsidiary two layers. M1–M5 grow inside a subsidiary; M6+ operates at the Group level. Subsidiary GM (M5) is the gateway into Group-level leadership.
