The website is hosted on our own VPS. The nginx / openresty access log retains:

• IP address, User-Agent, referer, timestamp, request path
• Used for security protection, abuse detection, compliance audit, and troubleshooting
• Retained for at least 180 days by default, then rotated out

2.3 What we do not collect

• We do not use third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Baidu Tongji, etc.)
• We do not serve ads and do not use advertising tracking cookies
• We do not require account registration to browse public content

We use your information only for the following purposes:

2. Delivering materials you have requested (whitepapers / datasheets / demos)

• Use your inquiry content to train public AI models

Our servers are located in Hong Kong, China. If you access this site from outside mainland China, your data will be transferred to and stored in Hong Kong. We apply security protections equivalent to those at the original collection point.

Our open-source products (mxsec-platform, mxid, mxcmdb, ticketdesk) run inside the customer’s own environment; data processing in those deployments is the customer’s responsibility as an independent data controller.

This site and our services are not directed at children under 14. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information without guardian consent, we will delete it promptly.

11. Data security

We apply the same engineering security standards we recommend to our customers to protect our own data:

• HTTPS everywhere (TLS 1.2+)
• Defense-in-depth and minimum-exposure posture across servers and operations infrastructure
• Multi-factor authentication on internal accounts
• Least-privilege access with periodic review
• Full audit trail and alerting on critical operations
• Regular security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and incident drills
